We believe that compliance shouldn’t require an army of consultants or enterprise-grade software. Every accountant and tax agent deserves purpose-built tools that guide them through their obligations - clearly, confidently, and without the jargon.
Who We Are
Next AML is developed by OMU Technologies Pty Limited, an Australian technology company focused on building compliance and regulatory tools for professional services.
Our team combines deep experience in:
- AML/CTF regulation - understanding the legislation, AUSTRAC guidance, and practical compliance requirements
- Accounting practice operations - knowing how firms actually work day-to-day
- Software engineering - building secure, reliable platforms that handle sensitive data responsibly
Why We Built This
When the Australian Government announced that accountants and tax agents would be brought under the AML/CTF regime from 1 July 2026, we saw an industry that was about to face a significant new burden - with very few specialist tools designed to help.
Existing AML/CTF software is built for banks and large financial institutions. It’s complex, expensive, and assumes a level of compliance infrastructure that most accounting practices simply don’t have.
We set out to build something different: a platform that meets the same regulatory standards but is designed from the ground up for the way accountants work.
